The family of Ketan Agarwal has made an emotional appeal to social media users to stop creating and sharing AI-generated videos featuring their deceased son. Following the sensational Pune Lohagad murder case, AI-edited videos and images falsely depicting Ketan alongside the accused, Siya Goyal, have gone viral across social media platforms. Although the content is entirely fabricated, it has gained widespread attention, causing immense emotional distress to the victim's family.
According to the police investigation, Ketan Agarwal was allegedly murdered on June 18 near Lohagad Fort in a pre-planned conspiracy. Police arrested Siya Goyal and Chetan Choudhary in connection with the case. Ketan's family said the viral AI content is reopening their emotional wounds every day and urged people not to turn a family's tragedy into online entertainment. The incident has also reignited concerns about the misuse of artificial intelligence and the spread of misleading digital content.
