BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and his wife blessed their son, BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), on his birthday and wished him a long, healthy, and prosperous life. KTR later spent time at the family's agricultural farm in Erravelli and planted a sapling along with KCR and other family members. He also extended support to the Green India Challenge by planting the sapling at the request of its founder and former MP Joginipally Santosh Kumar. Family members, including Shailima, Himanshu, and Rianshi, were present on the occasion.
KTR stayed away from birthday celebrations as a mark of solidarity with students protesting at Delhi's Jantar Mantar over the NEET paper leak issue. Earlier in the day, he participated in a BRS student wing protest at Indira Park Dharna Chowk, demanding the resignation of the Union Education Minister over the alleged NEET paper leak. After attending the protest, KTR travelled directly to KCR's residence in Erravelli.
