Kavitha Warns of Protest at Kann epalli Pump House

TRS president Kavitha visited the Kann epalli Lakshmi Pump House, part of the Kaleshwaram project, and inspected the flow of the Godavari from the pump house viewpoint. Her visit comes amid water scarcity concerns in the state due to deficient rainfall. During the visit, Kavitha demanded the construction of a cofferdam to divert Pranahita water. She warned that if the cofferdam is not built by the end of November, her party would launch a protest at the Kann epalli Pump House.

Kavitha said farmers should not be made to suffer by using the Medigadda issue as an excuse. She stated that her party was not only questioning the government but also suggesting solutions to address public problems. Emphasising that the visit was driven by a genuine concern for people, she said the TRS was not interested in political publicity or appearing on television. She urged the government to take the party’s suggestions seriously and act in the interests of farmers.
