Kalki Bhagavan’s Demise...Final Darshan at Ekam Centre

Spiritual teacher Vijay Kumar Naidu, popularly known as Kalki Bhagavan, passed away at the age of 77 while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai, according to reports. He founded the spiritual organisation Oneness, later known as Ekam, with its centre at Battalavallam in the Varadaiahpalem area of Tirupati district. Through his teachings, he focused on meditation, self-reflection, inner transformation and mental peace. His death has left his followers and disciples in deep sorrow, and his mortal remains are expected to be kept at the Ekam centre for devotees to pay their respects.

Born in Tamil Nadu in 1949, Vijay Kumar Naidu studied in Chennai and worked as a clerk with LIC before turning towards spirituality and alternative education. In the mid-1980s, he established Jeevashram, a residential school near Raju Peta in present day Chittoor district, with an emphasis on students’ development and self-discovery. The project later evolved into a spiritual centre known as Satyalokam. In the late 1980s, he began the spiritual movement associated with the Kalki Avatar, while his wife Padmavathi became known among followers as Amma Bhagavan. The movement later expanded internationally under the name Oneness. The Oneness Temple at Battalavallam, known for its white marble architecture, was inaugurated in 2005.
