Beautification works at the Brihatheertham temple tank of Sri Khadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Kadiri, Sri Sathya Sai district, are progressing rapidly. The project is being carried out with the special initiative of Kadiri MLA Kandikunta Venkata Prasad. The main focus is to prevent sewage from entering the sacred tank and provide a lasting solution to the problem. Grouting works are also underway to strengthen the tank’s structure and improve its durability.
Officials are focusing on completing the sewage-prevention measures and beautification works in a coordinated manner. Rather than relying on temporary fixes, the project aims to prevent the problem from recurring in the future while maintaining the tank’s cleanliness. Once the works are completed, the goal is to provide devotees with a cleaner, more attractive and peaceful spiritual environment. Efforts are being made to complete the development works at the earliest and improve the overall experience for visitors to the temple.
