Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh Appointed as Supreme Court Judge

The Central Government on Monday issued an official notification appointing Telangana High Court Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh as a judge of the Supreme Court of India. President Droupadi Murmu approved the appointment under Article 124(2) of the Constitution of India.

According to the notification issued by the Union Ministry of Law and Justice, Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh’s appointment will take effect from the date he assumes charge as a Supreme Court judge. He is expected to take charge of his new position after being relieved from his responsibilities as Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.
