Jantar Mantar Season 2 Coming Soon, Says CJP Founder Abhijit Deepke

Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Deepke has announced that the second season of the “Jantar Mantar” movement will be launched soon. Speaking to the media in Delhi after a CJP volunteers’ meeting was cancelled at the last minute, Deepke said several people had been asking on Instagram when Season 2 would begin. He stated that preparations for the next nationwide movement were already underway, although he did not initially reveal the specific issue at its centre.

Deepke alleged that the BJP had pressured venue owners and obstructed the CJP’s meeting in Delhi. He said several halls refused to host the gathering, citing pressure from higher authorities, and alleged that the owner of a venue that was eventually booked was also threatened. CJP spokesperson Saurav Das said a nationwide programme to understand public issues and opinions would begin on August 15. Given Deepke’s recent focus on school education and government-school infrastructure, there is speculation that the next movement could centre on strengthening government schools.
