Jana Sena Telangana organised a major protest at the Indira Park Dharna Chowk on Friday, demanding a permanent solution to the 22-A land issue in the state. The party called for eligible people’s properties to be removed from the 22-A list and their property rights to be protected. A large number of party leaders, women leaders, youth and affected landowners from various districts and constituencies participated in the protest.
Jana Sena Telangana in-charge Nemuri Shankar Goud said the government has a responsibility to protect people’s property rights and should resolve the issue immediately. He said the 22-A issue affects the lives and properties of many people and assured that the party would continue its fight until a fair solution is provided. Party campaign secretary Sagar R.K. Naidu also called for a clear and transparent policy to protect legally acquired properties from unnecessary restrictions and uncertainty. Several affected people submitted their documents and explained their difficulties to Jana Sena leaders.
