Olympic wrestler Vinesh Phogat has been issued a notice by the International Testing Agency (ITA) for being unavailable for an out-of-competition doping test. She reportedly missed the test scheduled on December 18 last year, which led to the action.
The agency stated that this is her first violation of the requirement to provide whereabouts information over the past 12 months. After reviewing her explanation submitted on January 19, the missed test was officially recorded. However, the ITA clarified that this notice is only a warning related to whereabouts compliance and not a doping violation.
