Israel denies reports amid Israel–Iran tensions

Amid ongoing efforts for a peace agreement in West Asia, reports claimed that Israel might target senior Iranian officials in alleged assassination attempts, sparking widespread discussion. Some reports suggested that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Qalibaf could be targeted amid indirect US–Iran talks. Meanwhile, discussions held in Doha reportedly made some progress on maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz and unfreezing Iranian assets. Qatar stated that the talks were constructive, with further rounds expected after key developments.
