The intensity of heat is expected to increase across Telangana from tomorrow, according to the weather department. Temperatures are likely to cross 40 degrees Celsius in several districts. Officials said Adilabad, Nirmal, Jagtial, Nizamabad, and Kumuram Bheem districts are expected to witness severe heat conditions.

An orange alert has been issued for most districts in the state on the 12th, except the combined Nalgonda and Khammam districts. People have been advised to avoid stepping out unnecessarily and take precautions against heat-related illnesses. Authorities have also alerted the health department to remain prepared.
