Telangana Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said that platforms such as the Travel and Tourism Fair play a key role in promoting the state’s tourism sector at national and international levels. He was speaking as the chief guest at the 24th Travel and Tourism Fair 2026, held at HITEX in Hyderabad on Friday. Representatives from 16 states and seven countries participated in the event. The minister noted that bringing tourism organisations, travel companies, hospitality businesses and industry representatives together would create new business opportunities, partnerships and employment prospects.
Jupally said the fair would strengthen connections between domestic and international tourism buyers and service providers, helping businesses explore partnerships and expand their markets. He urged travel companies to introduce attractive packages to encourage more tourists to visit Telangana. The minister also invited industrialists and investors to explore opportunities in the state ahead of the Global Investment Summit scheduled to be held in Hyderabad in December this year. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister’s Principal Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani, Telangana Tourism Development Corporation Managing Director Kranthi Valluri, Director of Tourism Lakshman Ranjit Nayak, Language and Culture Department Director Narasimha Reddy, Fairfest Managing Director Ibrahim and others attended the event.
