The Dasara Sharannavaratri celebrations continue to draw large crowds to Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada. Devotees began arriving in significant numbers early Monday morning to seek the blessings of Goddess Sri Kanaka Durga. The arrival of Bhavani Deeksha devotees added to the activity around the temple, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere filled with prayers and devotional chants. On the occasion of Mahanavami, devotees are gathering to witness the Goddess in her Sri Mahishasuramardini Devi Alankaram. Families and devotees observing the Bhavani Deeksha are offering prayers for peace, prosperity and good health. Temple Executive Officer Sheena Naik has overseen special arrangements to ensure a smooth darshan experience.
In view of the heavy footfall, officials have focused on queue management, drinking water, sanitation, medical assistance, security and traffic regulation. Temple staff, police personnel, municipal authorities and medical teams are coordinating their efforts to assist devotees. Volunteers are also helping visitors wherever necessary. Personnel are maintaining order along the darshan routes while prioritising public safety. With devotees continuing to arrive to seek the Goddess's blessings, the concerned departments remain alert and are working together to provide a convenient and orderly pilgrimage experience.
