India Post GDS Recruitment 2026.. Registration Begins August 31

India Post has announced a fresh recruitment opportunity for job seekers across the country through its Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Online Engagement Schedule-II, July 2026. The recruitment covers posts such as Gramin Dak Sevak, Branch Postmaster (BPM) and Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM). According to the official portal, registration begins on August 31 and will remain open until September 19, while online application submission will be available from September 2 to September 21.

Candidates applying for these posts must meet the prescribed educational and other eligibility requirements, including Class 10 qualification, knowledge of the local language and computer proficiency. Age limits and relaxations for reserved categories will be applicable as per the official notification. Selection is primarily based on merit derived from Class 10 marks. Eligible candidates must submit their applications online through the official India Post GDS portal.
