India and New Zealand have further strengthened their bilateral relations by signing five key Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in areas including defence, disaster management, and animal husbandry. The agreements are expected to expand economic cooperation and strategic partnership between the two countries.
During the delegation level talks held in Auckland, New Zealand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon discussed ways to enhance mutual cooperation. PM Modi stated that India and New Zealand can play an important role in promoting peace and security in the Indo Pacific region.
