India Issues Strong Warning to Pakistan at UN

India issued a strong warning to Pakistan at the United Nations, saying that cross-border terrorism will have consequences. Exercising its right of reply at the UN General Assembly, India criticised Pakistan over its remarks and reiterated that terrorism cannot be used as a means to pursue political objectives.

India also firmly rejected Pakistan’s claims regarding Jammu and Kashmir. New Delhi reiterated its position that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral and inalienable part of India, while stressing that its right to respond to cross-border terrorism will continue to be exercised.
