India Is a Trusted Friend of Israel - Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has responded to US Vice President JD Vance's remarks that the United States is Israel's only true ally. While acknowledging that the US remains Israel's most important strategic partner, Netanyahu said Israel also enjoys strong and trusted friendships with countries such as India.

Netanyahu said India, with its population of 1.4 billion, has consistently shown goodwill and support towards Israel. He also stated that several world leaders privately back Israel, even if they do not express their support publicly. Referring to US President Donald Trump, Netanyahu described him as one of Israel's closest friends in the White House. He added that although he respects JD Vance, he does not have to agree with everything he says.
