India Emerging as Sporting Power: MP Raghunandan Rao

India is emerging as a strong sporting power under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said Medak MP and Telangana Gymnastics Association President Madhavaneni Raghunandan Rao. He attended as the chief guest at the fourth day of the Asian Senior Fencing Championship held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

He praised initiatives such as Khelo India, Fit India, and Khelo Sansad for creating a sports revolution in the country and strengthening sports culture among youth. He said India hosting the championship, which includes over 400 athletes from 30 countries, is a matter of pride. He also appreciated the organizers and presented medals to winners of the day’s events.
