India Continues Relief Support to Nepal Amid Crisis

India has continued to extend humanitarian assistance to Nepal amid the ongoing crisis, with a fourth aircraft carrying 11 tonnes of essential relief material reaching the neighbouring country. Over the past five days, India has supplied a total of 68.5 tonnes of relief material as part of its support for affected communities and ongoing rescue operations.

Alongside relief supplies, India has deployed a technical team to assist Nepal with rescue efforts and sent a forensic experts’ team to support identification-related work. India has also dispatched 16 trucks carrying materials required for bridge construction, aimed at helping restore critical infrastructure and connectivity in affected areas. The continued assistance reflects India’s efforts to support Nepal’s emergency response and recovery operations.
