

India and Switzerland have taken significant steps to strengthen their bilateral relationship, with the two countries signing agreements covering five key sectors. The agreements are aimed at expanding cooperation across areas of mutual interest and taking the India-Switzerland partnership to a higher level. Both sides also focused on strengthening economic, technological and trade cooperation while exploring new avenues for closer collaboration.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with Swiss President Guy Parmelin. During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the progress of bilateral relations and exchanged views on strengthening future cooperation. The agreements in five key sectors are expected to provide further momentum to the strategic and mutually beneficial partnership between India and Switzerland.
