Fuel prices in Andhra Pradesh have emerged as the highest in the country, placing a significant financial burden on vehicle owners. Following the latest hike of 90 paise on Tuesday, petrol and diesel rates in AP surged well above those in other major states across India.
In Vijayawada, petrol prices touched ₹114.48 per litre, while diesel climbed to ₹102.17 per litre. Comparatively, petrol in Delhi stands at ₹98.63 and diesel at ₹91.50. In Hyderabad, petrol is priced at ₹111.36 and diesel at ₹99.53, while Tamil Nadu and Karnataka continue to maintain relatively lower fuel prices. The steep rates in Andhra Pradesh are now becoming a major concern for daily commuters and transport sectors.
