Hydrogen Train to Hit 110 kmph Soon..

Indian Railways has announced a key update on its hydrogen-powered train, which was recently launched successfully on the 89-km Jind-Sonipat route in Haryana. The train is currently being operated at a speed of around 75 kmph, and the Railways plans to increase its operating speed to 110 kmph in the near future.

Officials have revealed that trials at speeds of up to 120 kmph have already been completed. At the same time, Railways is assessing challenges related to hydrogen fuel supply, technology and other operational requirements. If these challenges are addressed successfully, the move could boost the development and demand for a wider hydrogen train network in India.
