The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRA) has reclaimed more than two acres of government land valued at approximately Rs. 400 crore at Khanamet village in Madhapur, under Serilingampally mandal of Sangareddy district. The action followed a request from revenue officials, who sought HYDRA’s intervention to protect the government property from encroachment.
Acting on the directions of HYDRA Commissioner A.V. Ranganath, officials carried out the operation on Thursday and took possession of the land. They also installed blue-sheet fencing around the property to prevent further encroachment and safeguard the government asset. The action highlights the agency’s efforts to protect public land from unauthorized occupation.
