Hyderabad Water Board Fines Jubilee Hills Pub

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has taken action against Four Fathers Pub in Jubilee Hills following a complaint alleging the misuse of drinking water. After conducting an on-site inspection at the establishment located on Road No. 45, Plot No. 872, officials reportedly imposed a fine of ₹20,000 and disconnected its drinking water supply. The board also stopped the supply of water through commercial tankers from its filling station.

With the summer season approaching, the Water Board has urged residents and commercial establishments, including hotels, restaurants and pubs, to use drinking water responsibly and avoid wastage. It has warned that violations could lead to penalties and disconnection of water supplies. Residents can report water wastage through WhatsApp at 99499 30003 or by calling customer care at 155313. Complainants can share photographs, videos, the location and relevant details. The board has stated that the identities of those providing information will be kept confidential.
