Hyderabad Protest Over Delhi Incident

State committees of student organisations, including SFI, AISF, PDSU, and AIFDS, staged a protest in Hyderabad against the reported lathi-charge on students in Delhi. Demanding the removal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the protesters attempted to march towards Lok Bhavan but were stopped by police at the Khairatabad junction and taken into custody.

Student leaders alleged that the use of force and tear gas against peaceful demonstrators in Delhi amounted to an attack on democratic rights. They expressed solidarity with Sonam Wangchuk and students across the country who are campaigning for educational and democratic rights. Several leaders and activists from various student organisations participated in the protest.
