

Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar announced that the Telangana state government has released ₹100 crore in the first phase to ensure smooth arrangements for the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu. He said the funds will be used for ghats, roads, drinking water facilities, and temple renovation works to avoid inconvenience to devotees.
During a review meeting in Velgatoor mandal of Jagtial district with officials from Roads and Buildings and Panchayat Raj departments, the minister instructed the construction of new bypass roads and development works, including improved connectivity between key routes. He also criticized the previous government for poor-quality and delayed works, stating that the current government has started preparations well in advance to complete all works by March 2027 and ensure better facilities for devotees.
