House Regularisation Pattas for Vijayawada Families

The Andhra Pradesh government is set to distribute house regularisation pattas to thousands of families in Vijayawada on September 30 under its initiative for granting ownership rights to poor families. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to distribute the pattas to around 24,000 beneficiaries. The move is aimed at providing legal ownership and long-term security to families who have been living in houses built on government land for decades. Recent reports confirm that the Vijayawada distribution is planned as part of the government’s wider regularisation drive.

The beneficiaries are spread across Vijayawada East, Vijayawada West, Vijayawada Central, Gannavaram, Jaggayyapeta, Mylavaram, Nandigama and Tiruvuru constituencies. The government has identified thousands of families in hill settlements and other areas for regularisation. The initiative follows the recent distribution of title deeds to thousands of families in Visakhapatnam, where the government regularised residential land and granted full ownership rights.
