Horrific Road Accident in Visakhapatnam

A devastating road accident claimed the lives of four people near Gandigundam on the Anandapuram–Anakapalli National Highway in Visakhapatnam during the early hours of Sunday. According to police, a family from Vinukonda in Palnadu district was travelling by car to Tekkali in Srikakulam district to attend a family function when the vehicle reportedly lost control and rammed into a lorry.

Of the five occupants in the car, four, including the driver, died on the spot. Chandrasekhar, Personal Assistant (PA) to the Narasaraopet MLA, sustained serious injuries and was shifted to a private hospital in Visakhapatnam for treatment. Preliminary reports indicate that Chandrasekhar's son was among those killed in the accident. Police reached the spot, collected evidence and launched an investigation into the incident.
