The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is preparing for another mega land auction, with a target of generating ₹3,000 crore in revenue. Premium land parcels in Kokapet Neopolis and Golden Mile layouts will be the primary focus of the auction. HMDA is also planning online bidding for government land parcels in Mokila and other locations in September, opening another opportunity for prospective bidders. HMDA has previously conducted major e-auctions in Kokapet and other locations, generating substantial revenue for the state.
The revenue generated through the proposed auction is expected to support the development of key infrastructure projects in Hyderabad. The funds will be utilised for projects including elevated corridors, radial roads and land acquisition for metro expansion, according to the details provided. With Hyderabad continuing to witness rapid urban growth, the latest auction is expected to play an important role in mobilising funds for large-scale connectivity and infrastructure development.
