

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the redeveloped Hitec City Railway Station on the 17th of this month. As part of the Amrit Bharat Scheme, 75 redeveloped railway stations across the country will be dedicated to the nation simultaneously through a virtual event. The South Central Railway zone has invited Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, and Union Ministers G. Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay to attend the event.
The Hitec City Railway Station has been redeveloped at a cost of ₹26 crore. Located near the Hitec City, Gachibowli, and Financial District IT corridor, the station serves thousands of daily commuters. A total of 62 MMTS and suburban trains operate daily from this station. New facilities include two additional lifts, an upgraded main entrance, a 12-meter-wide foot overbridge, a spacious waiting hall, modern toilets, and a new station building, enhancing passenger convenience. The inauguration is scheduled for 3 PM on the 17th.
