High-Level Review on Indrakeeladri

A high-level review meeting was held at the Endowments Department Commissioner's office in Gollapudi to discuss the comprehensive development of the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple on Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada and the expansion of facilities for devotees. The meeting was attended by Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni), senior officials from the Endowments Department, the NTR District Collector, police officials, and temple authorities. Officials directed that the new Annaprasadam Building and Laddu Preparation Facility be completed and inaugurated before the commencement of the auspicious Shravana month.

Considering the steady rise in pilgrim footfall, officials decided to accelerate the implementation of the temple's long-term Master Plan. Detailed discussions were held on resolving technical challenges related to the proposed multi-level parking facility and the second ghat road project. The primary objective is to improve infrastructure, ensure safe and convenient access for devotees, and significantly enhance the overall pilgrimage experience at the temple.
