Significant developments have emerged in the Telangana High Court regarding the Fatima Owaisi educational institutions building located near Salkam Cheruvu in Hyderabad. The Revenue and Irrigation Departments submitted a report stating that the building does not fall within the Full Tank Level (FTL) limits. However, the judge expressed strong dissatisfaction, noting that maps clearly indicate possible encroachment and questioning how the previously defined FTL area appears to have been reduced.

The High Court also questioned whether the government was selectively avoiding demolition of structures belonging to certain individuals. It sought clarification on the actions taken by HYDRA, which claims to protect water bodies. The court expressed displeasure over the absence of reports from the Municipal Department and HMDA. Meanwhile, in a significant development, the judge withdrew the status quo orders previously imposed on the Owaisi buildings.
