Traffic congestion has increased on the Hyderabad–Vijayawada National Highway following the conclusion of the Dasara festival holidays. Heavy traffic has been reported near the Pantangi toll plaza in Choutuppal mandal of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district. Many people who travelled to their native villages to celebrate the festival with their families are now returning to Hyderabad and other cities, resulting in a significant rise in vehicle movement along the highway.
With schools and colleges scheduled to reopen on October 22, students, parents and employees are travelling back to their respective destinations. The increased number of vehicles has contributed to congestion near the Pantangi toll plaza. The return rush following the festive break has led to heavy traffic on this busy highway, potentially causing delays for motorists travelling towards Hyderabad.
