Heavy Rains Wreak Havoc in Jammu & Kashmir

Heavy rains have caused widespread damage across Jammu and Kashmir, leading to multiple deaths and disruption of normal life. In Poonch district, seven people lost their lives after a landslide, including a mother and her two children who were buried alive. In Doda, two people died after a boulder fell on a bus, while another woman lost her life in a separate incident.

Several roads have been damaged due to continuous rainfall, affecting transportation in many areas. Authorities have temporarily suspended pilgrimage activities as a precautionary measure amid the adverse weather conditions.
