Heavy Rains in Telangana...Yellow Alert Issued for Several Districts!

The Hyderabad Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in several districts of Telangana over the next few hours. Districts including Mahabubnagar, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool, Narayanpet, Gadwal, Rangareddy, and Nalgonda are likely to receive rainfall. Officials also warned of strong winds reaching speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour and issued a yellow alert for the affected areas.

Heavy showers already lashed Hyderabad and several other parts of the state on Saturday night, bringing relief from the summer heat. In view of the latest weather warning, authorities advised people, especially farmers, to remain cautious during thunderstorms and strong winds. Residents have also been urged to avoid standing under trees and step outdoors only if necessary.
