Heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh have triggered landslides across several hilly areas, raising concerns over road safety and connectivity. In Bharmour, landslides occurred along the Kodla-Uri-Ghator road, causing extensive damage to the route. Large quantities of mud and debris have spilled onto the roadway, disrupting transportation to several villages and leaving residents facing difficulties.
The continuous rainfall has increased the risk of further landslides in vulnerable mountain regions. Authorities are monitoring the situation and taking necessary measures to clear the affected roads and restore connectivity. People living in hilly areas and travellers have been advised to remain alert and avoid unnecessary journeys until conditions improve.
