Heavy Rain with Thunderstorms Hits Delhi, 15 Flights Diverted

Delhi experienced heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, causing significant disruption across the national capital. Several parts of the city received intense showers, with Janakpuri recording the highest rainfall at 70 mm.

The downpour resulted in waterlogging on several major roads, affecting traffic movement across the city. Many areas witnessed severe traffic congestion as commuters struggled to navigate flooded roads. The adverse weather conditions also affected flight operations, with 15 flights reportedly being diverted.
