Heavy Rain Lashes Hyderabad as Depression Brings Intense Showers

Heavy rain has lashed several parts of Hyderabad following the influence of a weather system. Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills and Film Nagar recorded intense showers, while Punjagutta, Ameerpet and SR Nagar also experienced heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning.

The weather department has issued a yellow alert for the city and warned residents to remain cautious as heavy showers may continue for around two hours. People have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel during the spell of intense rainfall and take necessary precautions while commuting.
