Heavy Rain Alert for the Telugu States...These Districts Must Stay Alert!

The Meteorological Department has issued a weather alert for Telangana, forecasting heavy rainfall in several districts. Heavy rains are expected in Nagarkurnool, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Nalgonda, and Suryapet districts, for which a Yellow Alert has been issued. Thunderstorms are also likely in other parts of the state. Officials have warned that strong winds with speeds ranging from 40 to 50 kmph may accompany the rainfall.

Hyderabad is also expected to receive heavy rainfall by evening. Authorities have advised residents to avoid unnecessary travel during periods of intense rain. Meanwhile, the Amaravati Meteorological Centre has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms in parts of Andhra Pradesh, including East Godavari, Eluru, Krishna, Polavaram, Guntur, Palnadu, Markapuram, Nandyal, and Kurnool districts.
