Heavy Rain Alert for Coastal Andhra Pradesh Next Week

A surface circulation over North Andaman is likely to influence weather conditions, bringing the possibility of heavy rainfall to coastal Andhra Pradesh next week. The weather forecast indicates rain in Prakasam, Nellore and Tirupati districts, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in some areas. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea from the 25th due to potentially unfavourable weather conditions.

Meanwhile, a yellow alert has been issued for several districts in Telangana, including Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Warangal and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri. Light rain is likely in several areas, while some districts may experience thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds reaching speeds of 30–40 kmph. Residents are advised to follow official weather updates and exercise caution during thunderstorms.
