Tirumala witnessed a huge influx of devotees over the weekend as summer holidays led to increased pilgrim turnout. On Saturday, 90,011 devotees and on Sunday, 91,020 devotees had darshan of Lord Venkateswara. Officials closely monitored the crowd and made necessary arrangements to manage the rush smoothly.
Devotees waiting in queues were provided drinking water, milk, Annaprasadam, and medical assistance. At the Alipiri check post, vehicles heading to Tirumala were heavily congested, with long queues observed. Between early morning and night hours, 10,814 vehicles reached the hill shrine, causing intermittent traffic delays.
In Tirupati, the Sarva Darshan token quota at Vishnu Nivasam, Srinivasa Complex, and Bhudevi Complex was exhausted within an hour of distribution in the early morning, reflecting the high pilgrim demand.
