The waiting time for darshan of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala has reached around 18 hours. As of 5 pm on Friday, all 31 compartments at Vaikuntham Queue Complex-2 and nine sheds at Narayanagiri were filled with devotees waiting for Sarva Darshan. The queue extended up to the Pachikalva Gangamma Temple Circle. Meanwhile, time-slot devotees were waiting in six compartments at Vaikuntham Queue Complex-1.
The temple authorities reported that the hundi collection on Wednesday stood at ₹5.12 crore. On Thursday, a total of 78,026 devotees had darshan of Lord Venkateswara, while 31,166 devotees offered their hair as an offering. The heavy pilgrim rush has resulted in a longer waiting time for devotees seeking darshan.
