Heavy rush of devotees continues at Tirumala as thousands of pilgrims arrive for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara during the summer holiday season. The Vaikuntham Queue Complexes and Narayanagiri garden sheds are completely packed, with devotees waiting up to the Srivari Seva Sadan building. TTD officials stated that devotees without tokens are currently taking nearly 24 hours to complete Sarva Darshan due to the massive crowd influx.
TTD Additional Executive Officer Venkayya Chowdary said that special focus has been placed on time management and crowd control measures to ensure smooth darshan arrangements. He revealed that more than 15,000 additional devotees are being accommodated daily and that a record 79,603 devotees had darshan on Thursday alone. Officials from TTD, vigilance and police departments are jointly monitoring queue lines round-the-clock to improve crowd management and provide priority to common devotees.
