Telangana has reported a sharp rise in heatwave related deaths, with 51 people dying in a single day due to severe heatstroke. Over the past three days, the total number of deaths has reached 107, raising serious concern across the state.
The highest number of fatalities was recorded in the combined Warangal district, where 23 people died in a single day. Temperatures across 32 districts ranged between 40°C and 46°C, with several districts including Bhadradri, Jagtial, Suryapet, Khammam, Mancherial, Mulugu, and Komaram Bheem crossing 46°C. The weather department has warned that heatwave conditions will continue until the 27th, urging people to remain cautious.
