The Delhi High Court on Monday heard the Gymkhana Club case and issued notices to the Government of India. The matter pertains to the Centre’s directive asking the prestigious Gymkhana Club to vacate its premises. Following initial arguments, the court adjourned the hearing to July 28 for further proceedings.
The case reached the High Court after members of the Gymkhana Club challenged the eviction notices issued by the Centre. The petitioners argued against the validity of the notices and sought legal relief. The court will examine the matter in detail during the next hearing, as the dispute continues to draw attention in legal and administrative circles.
