Gujarat police constable Ramgar Gosai has resigned from his post, saying he was disturbed by the youth protests held at Jantar Mantar. Gosai, who was serving at the Adesar Police Station in East Kutch, said he considered it his moral responsibility to step into public life after resigning from the police service to counter what he described as campaigns against the government.
Gosai said he had worked hard to secure the government job but decided to resign in support of the Modi government and the RSS, which he believes has done significant work for the youth. He said he wanted to dedicate his life and services to the RSS and serve the country without seeking personal gain. Gosai added that the protests led by opposition parties had given a new direction to his life.
