Gudivada One-Town SI Y.V.V. Satyanarayana has reportedly been sent to the Vacancy Reserve (VR) following orders from the Krishna district Superintendent of Police’s office. The action comes in the wake of a dispute over a YSRCP rally held in Gudivada on August 10, protesting alleged irregularities in the Mega DSC recruitment process. The SI had served a notice to former minister Kodali Nani, informing him that permission had not been granted for the proposed rally.
Despite the police denying permission, Kodali Nani reportedly proceeded towards the YSRCP camp, allegedly disregarding the instructions issued by the police. Tensions arose during the subsequent developments, following which the district police administration issued orders transferring the Gudivada One-Town SI to VR. Further details regarding the circumstances that led to the action are awaited.
