Green Signal for 7,000 Jobs in Telangana

The Telangana government has announced good news for unemployed youth by approving nearly 7,000 job vacancies in the Home Department. These posts include positions in Police, Prisons, Fire Services, and Special Protection Force departments. The decision comes amid growing demands from job aspirants and is expected to provide significant relief. The recruitment process will be carried out in two phases, with orders already issued for filling 5,000 police posts, while the remaining 2,000 posts are expected to be announced soon.

According to the government order, the 5,000 police jobs include 3,697 Civil Constable posts and 1,052 Armed Reserve Constable posts, along with Sub-Inspector and other category positions. This marks the fourth-largest recruitment notification in the Home Department since the formation of Telangana. Previous major recruitments were conducted in 2015, 2018, and 2022. The upcoming notification is set to provide a golden opportunity for aspirants across the state.
