Grand Srivari Pavitrotsavam Celebrations in Tirumala

The second day of the annual Srivari Pavitrotsavam celebrations at Tirumala was held with religious fervour on Monday. The rituals began with homams and other Vedic ceremonies at the Yagasala in the morning. Later, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed for Malayappa Swamy along with Sri Devi and Bhu Devi at the Sampangi Prakaram.

Sacred garlands were offered to the main deity of Lord Venkateswara, the processional deities, other parivara deities in the temple, the Dhwajasthambham, Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy and Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy. In the evening, Malayappa Swamy appeared before devotees in a procession along the Mada streets of the temple. TTD EO Ravichandra and Additional EO Venkaiah Chowdary participated in the celebrations.
