Grand Commencement of Maha Samprokshanam at Devuni Kadapa Temple

Tirupati/Devuni Kadapa, August 24: The renovation and Ashtabandhana Mahasamprokshanam rituals at the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Devuni Kadapa began on Monday with devotion and in accordance with Agama traditions. Priests performed several sacred rituals, including Manonmana Pramana Shanti Homam, Kumbhasthapana, Panchagni Pranayanam and Shatthumora. Special Vedic rituals will continue at the Yagasala in the evening.

On August 25, Chatushthanarchana, Ekashiti Kalasha Snapanam, Murti Homam, Ashtabandhanam, Shayyadhivasam, Tattva Homam and Shanti Homam will be performed. On August 26, Maha Purnahuti, Mahasamprokshanam and Kalakarshanam will be conducted between 9:45 am and 11:30 am under the Shravan Nakshatra and Tula Lagna, following Agama traditions. Devotees will be allowed for darshan after the Mahasamprokshanam. Temple officials and priests are participating in the sacred rituals.
